1. SYNOPSIS
The Department of Interior Acquisition Services Division (AQD) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ) on behalf of the Department of the Interior, Office of Law Enforcement and Security (DOI OLES). This RFQ is open to all small business concerns under NAICS Code 561622, and is being issued using the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13.
This is a recompete requirement for The Department of the Interior (DOI) Main Interior Building (MIB) located at 1849 C St., NW Washington, DC for locksmith services. MIB currently has the need for locksmith services for various work performed on doors leading into offices, closet doors (of all types), gates, building access doors, sliding and roll-up doors. The doors are constructed of various materials, such as, but not limited to; wood, metal, glass and a combination of such materials.
A key system has been established and is referenced when assigning new cores to doors throughout the building. This same system has been modified to adequately manage key control. The ISCO Branch requests locksmith services that will provide surety to those who occupy the building and protect some of the Nation’s most valued information and property.
The Government anticipates an award of a Time and Materials (T&M) purchase order with a 12-month base year and four 12-month option years. The Government reserves the right to not make an award if no quotes are determined able to meet this requirement or if there are other issues, e.g., a funding shortfall, necessitating not proceeding with an award.
