RFQ Attachment #1 Questions and Answers
Solicitation – 140D0424Q0322
Question No. Question Government Response
1 Are y’all sure this tract has access to U. S. Hwy. 79.
There are 2 bridges which encumbered the frontage…one over the Neches River and another across a slough. If you look closely at the aerial photos, you can see cables along the right-of-way which appear to limit access near the bridges. Is there any additional information you can provide?
After award, the contractor will be provided with a DOI, USFWS, PLSR (Preliminary Land Survey Review) that states: "The tract does have legal access. The tract can be physically accessed from State Highway 79." After award they will be provided with additional exhibits that clearly identify the property. A survey shows the property has approx. 1,779 feet of frontage along US 79. After reviewing google maps, it looks like SH 79, along at least for a portion of the tract's frontage, doesn't have any guardrails, chains or other improvements that would impede access.
2 Can you tell me who the AVSO reviewer on this assignment?
Not at this time. Reviewer’s information provided at award of contract.
