About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a solicitation for a land appraisal assignment. The assignment involves appraising a privately-owned tract of land totaling approximately 336 acres located in Arizona for the Department of the Interior. The appraisal is needed to determine the fair market value of the property. The intended users of the appraisal are identified in the statement of work. The pre-work meeting with the selected appraiser will discuss the property and assist in determining the scope of work, and coordinate tasks and a property inspection. New details outside the agreed upon scope are not expected to arise during this meeting.

RFQ Attachment #1 Questions and Answers
Solicitation – 140D0424Q0153
Question No. Question Government Response
1 The subject property appears to have some communication towers located on it. Will the valuation of the communication towers be part of the appraisal assignment?
The property includes vacant land. No communication towers are known to exist on the site.
2 Public records indicate that the subject property is owned by the Federal government. For this assignment, who is the client and who is the intended user(s)?
The client and intended user are identified in the Statement of Work. See RFQ
(pg. 9), Section 3: Appraisal Problem Identification.
The property is privately-owned, as indicated in the Preliminary Title Commitment provided.
3 The solicitation states that a “pre-work meeting” is required and should precede the appraiser’s scope of work. Are there more details to be provided at such a meeting that would add to the scope of work?
The pre-work meeting is intended to discuss the subject property and assist in the scope of work determination, assign tasks as necessary, and coordinate the property inspection. New details should not arise during this meeting that would dramatically alter the scope of work.
