Scope of Work

Jeehdeez’a Elementary School Installation of Wireless Burglary System with Integrated Video with Phone App

1.0 Location

The project is for Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) Jeehdeez’a Elementary School located in Low Mountain, AZ 86510.

2.0 Background

Jeehdeez’a Elementary School has an immediate need for an integrated video and burglar alarm system to provide a safe and secure facility.

3.0 Mandatory Onsite Visit

Interested vendors shall conduct a mandatory onsite visit prior to submitting a quote. To schedule an appointment, please contact Oneita Tootsie at 928-725-3308 option 4. The onsite visit shall be made at no cost to the government, Monday – Friday, excepting holidays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm local time.

4.0 Work Schedule

The work shall be performed on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm local time.

5.0 Period of Performance

The project shall be completed within 45 days from date of the award of purchase order.

6.0 Scope of Work

1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, services, licensing, and equipment to perform the work for installing the equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for professional quality and timely completion of the project.

2. Contractor shall check in at the front office and adhere to school safety protocols.

3. As with any new technological advances, the need to train users from the vendor is vital to be successful. Contractor shall list all specific training for end-users, technology personnel, and administrators with hardware and software capability, function, and setup. Contractor shall indicate if this will be an additional charge, or it will be included in the installation costs.

4. Contractor shall install new main door contacts, overhead contacts, and motion sensors to back up all exit doors.

5. Contractor shall install day local door sounders on doors leading outside from dormitory halls.

6. Contractor shall mount the NVR.

7. Contractor shall provide training to school personnel on the system.

8. Contractor shall program/ install all applicable applications necessary to operate cloud-based system.

9. Contractor shall confirm compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

10. All switches and bridges must be Cisco products to comply with DOI standards (ex. C9200, C9124A, or C9167).

8.0 Security

1. All safety precautions shall be used to ensure students and staff are protected.

2. The work area will be kept clean at all times, and demo-out materials shall be disposed of by contractor.
