Questions and Answers:

Question 1. The address provided in the documents (1771 Hwy 371, Navajo Rt 9, Crownpoint, NM 87313) is not recognized by Google Earth and seems to suggest it is the Crownpoint Police Station via google. However, the Police Station is nowhere near Navajo Route 9. There appears to be a school on the corner of Hwy 371 and Navajo Route 9 with a dirt football field (see attached pic), is this the site?

Answer 1. The school with the dirt field at the corner of Hwy 371 and Navajo Route 9 is the site Question 2. The scope calls for the demolition & removal of existing turf but I don’t see any turf (natural or artificial) in Crownpoint. Is this meant to reference the dirt & topsoil?

Answer 2. As there's no turf it does reference the topsoil.

Question 3. The scope calls for the excavation & relocation of existing turf & existing topsoil. Again, I don’t see any turf. Is this simply stating that spoils from excavation efforts must go off site?

Answer 3. If possible, topsoil can be place at the northside of the field in efforts to lower cost.

Question 4. The scope seems to suggest we are excavating 4” and installing a 4” profile of stone. Is the new turf to be installed above grade?

Answer 4. 4 inches was already removed by facility to lower the cost of having to remove the 8 inches.

Question 5. The scope calls for 800 LF of 10” perf pipe & 350 LF of 10” ADS solid pipe for the drainage system. Does this include piping required for tie in to existing storm system? Where is the tie in located? Is there only (1) hard connection?

Answer 5. Right now, there is no drainage system in place.

Question 6. The scope calls for the installation of nailer board but does not mention concrete curbs, are there existing curbs?

Answer 6. There are existing curbs.

Question 7. Is there an available storm structure to tie into within 350 LF of the field (hence the specified quantity of solid pipe) or is the plan to daylight to an existing ditch or somewhere else outside the “track”?

Question 8. Can the location of the structure or outflow be disclosed?

Answer 8. The only storm output structure I know of is the one east of the school parking lot and south of the football field. It is about 80 yards for the football field. We also have a concrete drainage channel that runs parallel with the field on the westside, but we don't have a daylight.

Question 9. If there is no existing structure & daylighting is not possible, do we need to install a dry well?
