The University encourages participation from Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE), Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE), and Disability-Owned Business Enterprises (DisBE) certified by Connecticut's Department of Administrative Services, as well as Connecticut-based businesses. Standard payment terms of 2% discount if paid within 15 days or net 45 days are proposed, with proposers able to offer alternate terms. Mandatory submittals include the Campaign Contribution Certification form, Bidder Contract Compliance Monitoring Report, Connecticut Economic Impact Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, acknowledgment of the Vendor Code of Conduct, and three references from comparable projects preferably from higher education institutions.
