About this file
This Statement of Work outlines requirements for servicing and installing a Bauer dive compressor and bank system for NOAA's Marine Operations Center - Atlantic in Norfolk, VA. The contractor must service an existing Bauer Model IMVT120II/AP-460-E3 compressor (manufactured 2/2008), connect it to 230V three-phase power, and install a new three-cylinder bank system with fill station capable of filling both SCBA and SCUBA bottles to 5000 psi with regulated fill rates.
The scope includes installing three HC5000-3 5000psi type K cylinders with wall mounting, a basic fill panel with two fill positions, TRI-FILL/2 position station with quick connects, and associated fittings and valves. The contractor must also service/replace filters, service the oil/water separator, perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance, and connect water drain and fresh air lines. Period of performance is within one week of contract award, with flexibility of +/- 2 weeks by mutual agreement. The SOW includes detailed specifications for all required parts and components, including part numbers and quantities for items like gauges, valves, filters, and fittings from the OEM Bauer Compressors.

Supply and install a 3-cylinder bank system with fill station that will fill both SCBA and SCUBA bottles. When contract is completed, the facilities Bauer Compressor and Bank system should be ready to pump breathable air into SCUBA and SCBA cylinders at a max of 5000psi and a regulated fill rate.
3. Period of Performance:
The period of performance is within a week of awarding the contract.
Alternate dates for period of performance shall not exceed 2 weeks before or after the dates given here, except by mutual agreement. Contract may be canceled by KO without penalty due to lack of appropriated federal funds, unusual/unplanned operational needs. KO will provide notice of any changes at least 24 hours in advance.

Hook up to Electricity:
Three phase power is currently stubbed out into the compressors control panel and switched off at the both breakers. Electricity lines need to be hooked up.
Supply parts, install, service and hook up bank and manifold system.
A three-cylinder bank system to fill SCBA and SCUBA bottles need to be supplied and installed to operate with the current compressor.
This will include:
• 3x HC5000-3 – 5000psi- type K style cylinders (wall mounted) (3 X 5000 PSI UN STORAGE
CYLINDERS TO BE INSTALLED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A BFP PANEL WALL
MOUNTED WITH UNISTRUT & CLAMPS.)
o Basic fill panel BFP-2/4CASCADE - with two (2) fill positions.
Includes all necessary fittings, bank gauges, bank control valves, and 1/4" NPT female inlet connections for four cascade banks* o TRI-FILL/2 POSITION
TRI-FILL, high/low/SCUBA, quick connect fill station+ CFS5.5-2 ONLY
• PLU-0004
o PLU,HX HD PIPE;1/4"NPTM,ST,PLT.
Service/install needed:
• Mount filter tower and pipe into system o Replace filter o Service and install purification filter and coalesce.
o Replace filter tower if date of manufacture exceeds life expectancy of housing
• Service oil/water separator
• Service compressor according to manufactures recommended interval (which should include, belt, intake air filter, oil, etc.)
• Connect and route water drain line into approved collection container
• Connect and route fresh air hose to exterior of room
Ending product should be a functional SCBA and SCUBA fill station with two fill whips for SCUBA bottles with quick disconnects to adapt to fill SCBA bottles. The fill station will also include three bank cylinders, a manifold, fill station panel, air purification and the serviced Bauer compressor. This system should be able to fill a tank to 5000psi of breathable air with a regulator to regulate fill rates of each cylinder.
