About this file

This amendment modifies a solicitation for husbandry services to the NOAA ship Thomas Jefferson in Charleston, South Carolina. The solicitation seeks port agent services including pier space, line handlers, garbage collection, potable water, and husbanding services for six planned visits between September 2023 and September 2024. The amendment deletes the requirements for the second through sixth port visits and extends the response time. Services will be provided in Charleston at the Cruise Terminal, Union Pier, or Columbus Street Terminal. The solicitation requests pricing for basic supplies and services during port visits, including security, forklifts, waste removal, shore power, and tugs. Responses are due as specified in the amended solicitation. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is the issuing agency.

NOTE: In port two through six below will be considered as an additional Optional Port Services dates request and will be funded as a whole or as per needed basis under their perspective CLINS. For CLINS 0002-0006 refer to the services requested under #4 below: Basic Supplies, Services and Performance Standards requirements.

CLIN 0002: In port 2: (Four days) 6/28/2024 - 7/1/2024

KO will provide notice of any changes at least 24 hours in advance. Due to the nature of ship operations, additional in port dates may be added for emergencies / weather. Dates for 2024 in ports are estimated since ship schedules are based on fiscal years and will not be available until mid-September.
