The SOW specifies the technical requirements, including the size of the concrete pad (10' x 21'6"), the need for rebar and a base layer as determined by the contractor, and the requirement to secure the shipping container to the pad using threaded rods. The contractor will also be responsible for lifting the 8' x 20' shipping container onto the concrete pad after it has cured. The total weight of the container and contents is estimated at 6,000 lbs. The contractor must obtain all necessary permits. The related federal contract opportunity, solicitation number 1333MJ24R0002, is for the Construction of Concrete Pad for a Portable Storage Box, issued by the Department of Commerce's NOAA.
