About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation 142050-26-0033 for e-waste disposal services at Alaska Region offices, updated August 17, 2026.
The e-waste materials are located at four sites: Weather Forecast Office (WFO) Anchorage with nine non-stackable bundled pallets of varying dimensions (ranging from 26x35x27 to 62x54x48 inches), and three additional locations with unbundled intact equipment. Sand Lake (National Tsunami Warning Center) contains 370 items including 101 workstations, 60 servers, 57 laptops, 15 switches, 17 hard drives, and various peripherals including printers, scanners, tablets, and networking equipment. Alaska Region Headquarters (ARH) contains 281 items including 87 cameras, 57 laptops, 24 analog VoIP units, 9 servers, and office equipment such as printers and projectors. National Tsunami Warning Center (NTWC) contains 598 items with a notably high quantity of 411 hard drives, plus 30 workstations, 23 servers, 15 monitors, and various networking and specialized equipment including solar panels and recording equipment. All materials are intact equipment, though some items requiring sanitization may have drives removed. The solicitation is a new project with no incumbent contractor. Quoters may rely on subcontractor certifications (R2v3 or e-Stewards) for past performance evaluation purposes without rejection of their quote. The document does not specify contract award dates, response deadlines, pricing terms, or set-asides.
