9. Would the government consider removing the requirement specifically asking for CSOD-experience and certified-CSOD resources, and instead broaden the requirement to any demonstrable LMS experience within the federal government space instead? This shall enable a wider response from capable vendors who have LMS expertise above and beyond CSOD who can still operate, maintain, and support the existing CSOD solution.
Answer: No. The U.S. Department of Commerce has a sophisticated architecture of the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) platform that includes all 12 bureaus managing their own Cornerstone portals autonomously. As such, it is imperative this requirement is met to be able to successfully assist government manage ongoing configuration, development, enhancement, and best practices of the system. In addition, CSOD directly requires certification from their clients and providers specifically when working with them directly on tier 2 system cases and product release management.

10. Could the Government provide information on which ticketing tool generates tickets?
Answer: There are multiple vehicles for LMS Help Desk support tickets. End-users can send an inquiry to a government furnished LMS support email address; they can select a chat support tool from the LMS directly, and they reach out directly to a LMS phone support number. Since this bureau is in 120 countries the LMS phone support number needs to be open to the end-users in the U.S. and overseas.
