About this file

This file contains questions and answers related to a janitorial services solicitation (1305M325Q0035) for the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office in Tallahassee, FL. The Q&A clarifies that the facility has 22 full-time employees with average daily occupancy of 14, and cleaning staff will receive FSU parking cards for the employee lot. The contractor must provide all supplies and equipment including paper products, cleaning materials, and waste basket liners, with pricing included in the firm-fixed-price monthly invoices. Two rooms have elevated floors with electrical wiring that require special cleaning methods using wet spray and microfiber cloth mops rather than traditional wet mops.

Key details include: all billing is monthly in arrears with no separate billing for quarterly/semi-annual/annual tasks; past performance requires two references with completed questionnaires; site visits are available but not mandatory; and the contractor must be ready to begin services by the base period start date. The Q&A addresses labor questions by referring to Wage Determination requirements for Occupation Code 11150-Janitor, but does not specify required staffing levels or provide incumbent pricing information, leaving staffing decisions to the contractor's discretion based on the scope of work requirements.
