About this file
This document provides questions and answers related to a solicitation for uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), through the National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region, is soliciting offers to remove existing UPS systems, battery cabinets, batteries, and debris at nine weather forecast office locations. Offerors are to supply and install a new UPS, battery cabinet if separate, and batteries on a one-for-one replacement basis at each site. Offerors must provide pricing for both lithium-ion and valve-regulated lead-acid battery options in their responses. The closing date for offers was revised to June 24, 2020. The awardee will be responsible for all electrical disconnect and reconnect work. Drawings of the existing UPS locations are available to offerors who sign a non-disclosure agreement.
