About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for yard services on the NOAA Research Vessel Gannet. The SOW outlines the specific work tasks required, including engine and generator service, fire-fighting equipment service, and life raft service. The work is to be performed dockside at the vessel's home port in Savannah, Georgia, with a performance period of 45 days from the date of award. The contractor must demonstrate past performance in working with aluminum high-speed catamaran vessels. The award will be a firm fixed-price purchase order, evaluated on a low-price technically acceptable basis. The key NOAA points of contact are provided. The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the yard services, with a NAICS code of 336611 and the government intending to use simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.
