Questions / Answers to RFP 1305M223RNWWG0003
1. What is delivery address?
a. This has been updated in RFP under “Delivery Location”
2. Period of Performance typos in the year
a. This has been corrected to reflect 12 months for each ordering period as originally intended
3. Is there a loading dock at receiving location?
a. Yes
4. When is the first order being placed?
a. An IDIQ contract is used due to the knowing we will need a supply/service but not knowing the exact time. However, it is anticipated within the first month of the first ordering period that an order will be placed for an anticipated 1,000 units, based on the availability of funds. Please note, this anticipated order response to the RFP question is not the government placing an order and does not constitute any agreement or contract
5. What does 52.225-1, Buy American-Supplies clause mean?
a. Essentially it means we must use American made products or the contractor has a trade agreement to sell a non-American made product. This clause goes into what is considered American made.
6. What does 52.225-5, Trade Agreements clause mean?
a. This clause goes into trade agreements for if we were not going to use a Buy American product but must comply with WTO and the Trade Agreements Act. Preference is given to American if there is not a waiver. This means that covered end products imported from a trade agreement approved country are treated as domestic end products or materials for purposes of the BAA when they have been wholly grown, produced, or manufactured in a designated country. However, batteries are not under this waiver or waiver list.
