Question 2: For the 170 rooms for the conference, do you need rooms with two queen beds, or rooms with king beds?

Answer 2: The bed size is not a technical factor;

however, Queen or king size beds are preferred.

Question 3: Per the SOW (page 3), it notes overflow staff will be directed to adjacent hotels within 20-minute drive. Does this mean this solicitation is looking for additional hotels to accommodate the overflow if the awarded hotel cannot accommodate the employees?

Answer 3: If the hotel hosting the conference cannot meet the 170-lodging room requirement, the hotel can provide a sister property within a

20-minute drive, with the remainder available room block.

Question 4: Is there a requirement for lodging to be in a particular location (zip code)?

Answer 4: It is a requirement that the lodging and conference be provided in Sacramento. If lodging is not available in the Sacramento area, other areas to be considered to provide potential lodging are Davis, Natomas, West Sacramento, South Land Park and adjacent city/neighborhood zip codes.

Question 5: Is there flexibility in having some of the participants stay at another nearby hotel?

Answer 5: Yes, however the preference is to have at least 170 rooms at the selected hotel hosting the conference.

Question 6: The nightly rate quoted was $169.00 per night but the per diem lodging rate is

$145.00. Is there wiggle room here?

Answer 6: No, The Government will not pay above the Federal Per Diem rate of $145.

There are no additional changes by reason of this amendment. All other solicitation terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Period of Performance: 10/21/2024 to 10/25/2024
