This is a wage determination document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, establishing prevailing wage rates for service contract workers in Utah counties (Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Grand, San Juan, and Uintah). Wage Determination No. 2015-5497, Revision 28, effective 5/13/2026, applies to all contracts subject to the Service Contract Act awarded in this geographic area.

The document lists approximately 200 occupation classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates, ranging from $11.81 to $48.46 per hour. Occupational categories include administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation and repair, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs occupations, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation occupations, stevedoring and longshoring, technical occupations, and transportation and mobile equipment operations. All listed occupations receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 per week, or $962.00 per month), or $5.89 per hour under Executive Order 13786 ($283.60 per week or $882.27 per month). Additional provisions address paid vacation and holidays, hazardous pay differentials, night pay and Sunday pay for air traffic controllers and weather observers, uniform allowances, and computer professional exemptions. The document includes conformance procedures for unlisted classifications requiring contractor submission of proposed wage rates to the Department of Labor for approval within 30 days of contract work commencement.
