Questions from contractors at the office:

Will the material for the fill come from the site or will it need to come from somewhere else?

o (Robert) – It is expected to come from the site.

Is Cad data available to double check quantities?

o (Jason and Robert) – Yes. Will look into which files can be made available.

o (Tasha) – Bidders should base bid on the estimated quantities in the bid schedule, if bidders feel there are discrepancies in any figures, bring it to the Government’s attention as soon as possible for a resolution prior to bid opening. CAD drawings will be provided to the successful offeror upon award.

Quality Control method used will be method 1 or method 2?

o (Robert) – Method 2.

Questions from contractors at the site:

What is the reason for not allowing work on Saturdays?

o (Jason) – Lack of availability of inspectors and to allow access to the landowner on weekends if hunting.

How long will it take from the award to get the notice to proceed?

o (Jason) – It depends but no sooner than 30 days.

Can you make up days on weekends if necessary?

o (Jason) – in extreme circumstances there may be an opportunity to work more days but for now expect to only work 5 day/10 hour schedules.

Where is the water coming from for compaction?

o (Jason) – The water will have to be brought in from outside and is the responsibility of the contractor.

Is site showing mandatory?

o (Jason) – No, but highly encouraged.

*A comment was made by Jason and Robert letting contractors know to not trust the current stakes at the site. Some of the markers are from the preliminary visits and surveys so they are not final stake out markers and construction stakeout needed to be done by the contractor using the given final control points.

Before adjourning, all participants were informed that any additional questions were to be sent to

Natasha (Tasha) Kennedy and Laureen Eipp in the emails listed in the solicitation.
