Title Search Services

RFQ Questions and Responses - Easement Programs - Closed Easements – Title Search Services in all counties in the State of Idaho (ID).

Q1. How does the Agency define the term "job" as the unit of measure for the CLIN Line item number 0001? Specifically, does each "job" refer to a county search or a state search?

A1. Job would be the state search.

Q2. What terms (i.e. United States of America or USDA) does the Agency want the contractor to search for?

A2. “To ensure that all property interests are located, the contractor will search for the following terms in the Grantee index in each county: United States, US, USDA, United States Department of Agriculture, NRCS, Natural Resources Conservation Service, SCS, Soil Conservation Service, CCC and Commodity Credit Corporation. In addition, in several of the search locations – the contractor will be provided with a list of up to 10 additional entity names to search under the Grantee index in each county to obtain documents that were indexed under one of multiple grantee’s. “

Q3. For the state of Idaho, on-line title records go back only to the year 1981 so I am requesting if the Agency is requesting title records for Idaho going all the way back to January 1, 1941? If so, can the Agency provide a list of counties where they anticipate the Contractor traveling to in order to retrieve records from 1941 to 1980 at the various county record’s offices, where each of these records are physically located?

A3. The agency has no list to provide. The purpose of this project is to provide the agency a list of records
