Q1. How do you want proposals submitted for the solicitation?

Q2. It’s noted that services are to be performed on Wednesdays and Sundays after business hours. What are the business hours on those days?
A2. Business hours for Wednesdays are 7:00am-4:00pm and there are no business hours on Sundays as the office is closed on that day.
Q3. What is the approximate square footage of the areas to be serviced at the NRCS KS Plant Materials Center?
A3. Approximately 5,060 square feet total of carpet and hard surface floor.

A5. Approximately 5,060 square feet total of carpet and hard surface floor.
Q6. What is the square footage of the entire building where janitorial service is needed?
A6. The area of hard surface flooring requiring routing cleaning is approximately 800 square feet for an overall total of approximately 5,060 square feet when combined with the carpeted areas.
Q7. How many restrooms?
A7. There are 2 restrooms. There is a waterless urinal that will require at least 2 cartridge changes per year. The PMC has 3 full time employees and hosts on average 3 events per year with an average attendance of 40 people.
Q8. Will there be a site visit to review the subject facility and have exact understanding of the task?
A8. A site showing will be held on Thursday, July 13th at 10:00am at the Plant Materials Center.
Q9. What brand for the paper towel, toilet paper, and soap are used?
A9. There is no specific brand for these items.
