About this file

This document is a set of questions and answers related to Solicitation Number 12970224Q0047, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial supplies of various pipe and pipe fittings to support post-fire recovery operations in the Pecos/Las Vegas District of the Santa Fe National Forest.

The RFQ is seeking bids for the following items: 2 3/8" drill stem pipe, polyethylene pipe, stainless steel pipe couplings, and stainless steel 90-degree elbows. The pipe diameters are specified as outside diameter (OD). The steel pipe is not required to be threaded or stainless steel. The polyethylene pipe is for gravity-fed spring water lines and is not pressurized. The agency has provided clarification on the acceptable pipe lengths, fittings, and materials. No specific performance or service requirements are included, as this appears to be focused on the procurement of commercial off-the-shelf pipe and fittings.
