Questions & Answers for 12970223Q0103 – Coronado National Forest HVAC Replacement
1. Is there a site visit?
a. No, we do not have an official site visit for this project, but you can contact Jacob Ferguson at 575-313-9274 who is on-site and can set up a time for you to view the project location.
2. Delivery location is identified on the Form 1442 as 300 W Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 however the project location (within the solicitation) says that the physical location is 5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd., Tucson, AZ, 85750. Can you please confirm the correct delivery location given that the vendor is responsible for all fees to deliver equipment for installation.
a. All work associated with the solicitation shall take place at 5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd., Tucson, AZ 85750
3. Are the units on the roof? If so, are they on stands?
a. Sabino VIC and Sabino Staff Mod #3 on roof. Sabino Staff Mod #2 on end of modular building. Units are resting on 4” X 4” pressure treated lumber.
4. Can you verify if they are side discharge (plenums on the side, will need roof jack dimensions for new plenums) or are they down shots (come out of bottom of units into roof jacks?
a. Units are side discharge.
5. Is the roof flat or pitched?
a. Flat
6. Can you define what is included in “Mobilization”?
a. See attached mobilization specifications that defines this item.
7. I noticed that under your Option/Item 0004 you didn’t include “Mobilization”. If Mobilization should include labor costs please clarify so that our numbers are accurate for your review. How do you want us to handle the labor time needed for Option/Item 0004?
a. Option Item/Item 0004 is a lump sum quantity that should include all costs to Remove TRANE Model WCY048F100AD and Replace with same or equal model (Modular Building #3). The determination of if the Government exercises this option or not should be determined by the Government at time of award, so mobilization costs should cover this item as well as Items 0002 and 0003.
8. Progress Schedule form – it looks like it’s a table, yet I am unable to fill in for the most part? Are you only looking for information where there are grey boxes only? Please confirm what lines/details are essential for that form to be completed?
a. This form is intended for you to tell us how long the work will take to complete. It might be easier to complete in PDF or if you print & write the information. Essentially, we are looking for when work is planned to start, and when it will end…if it’s easier to provide that information outside using this form, that is acceptable.
