About this file

This document outlines a statement of work for the installation of new trellis systems at the USDA Agricultural Research Service facility in Parlier, California. It requires vendors to install two different trellis systems across four vineyard blocks totaling approximately 17 acres. For two blocks covering approximately 6.5 acres, vendors must install a 48-inch V trellis system with vine spacing of 6 feet by 12 feet running east to west. For the other two blocks covering approximately 11 acres, vendors must install a three-wire vertical trellis system with vine spacing of 3 feet by 12 feet, with one block running east to west and the other running north to south. Vendors must provide all necessary parts, materials, labor and schematics to complete turnkey trellis systems by January 2024. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for providing and installing the trellis systems through the Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service located in Parlier, California.
