Prosser Modular Laboratory Utility SOW
Introduc�on:
This statement of work is for the preparatory work required for a modular unit placement. The project involves a service, and the contractor or supplier is responsible for comple�ng the following tasks. This is a one-�me contract.
Project Overview:
The project aims to prepare the Prosser worksite site for the installa�on of a modular laboratory. The goals of the project are to:
1. Mobilize equipment and material to the site
2. Excavate and install up to 50 � of 1” water line
3. Excavate and install up to 50 � of conduit for communica�ons/power
4. Excavate and install up to 50 � of 4” sewer line at 4’ depth
5. Backfill ditches/swales to ensure proper drainage
Scope of Work:
Goal 1: Dirt Work – Mobilize
Step 1: Mobilize equipment and material
• Deliver equipment and material to the site
• Inspect the site to ensure the area is cleared and prepared for the work
• Check that all equipment is in working order
Goal 2: Water Service
Step 1: Excavate and install up to 50 � of 1” water line
• Excavate trenches for the water line
• Install a 1” water line to connect to the exis�ng water main
• Use PVC pipes, valves, and fi�ngs as required
• Connect to the water meter
• Install a shut-off valve
• Test for water pressure
Step 2: Bed water line with u�lity sand
• Bed the water line with u�lity sand to prevent damage
Goal 3: Dry U�li�es
Step 1: Excavate and install up to 50 � of conduit for communica�ons/power
• Excavate trenches for the conduit
• Install conduit for communica�ons/power
• Backfill with sand and compact the area

• Bed u�li�es with sand to prevent damage
Goal 4: Side Sewer
Step 1: Excavate and install up to 50 � of 4” sewer line at 4’ depth
• Excavate trenches for the sewer line
• Install a 4” sewer line
• Use PVC pipes, couplings, and fi�ngs as required
• Connect to the main sewer line
• Install a cleanout at each end of the sewer line
Step 2: Install (2) cleanouts
• Install two cleanouts to provide access to the sewer line
Step 3: Pressure test
• Pressure test the sewer line to ensure there are no leaks
Goal 5: Backfill
Step 1: Backfill ditches/swales
• Backfill trenches with soil
• Compact soil to ensure stability
• Provide slopes and swales to ensure proper drainage
Step 2: Provide slopes and swales to ensure proper drainage
• Grade and slope the soil to ensure proper drainage away from the modular unit
Project Schedule:
The project will start on _________, and the projected comple�on date is ________. The contractor or supplier should complete the work within this �meframe. The work is es�mated to take a total of 3 weeks, with each sec�on and step taking varying lengths of �me. The contractor or supplier should provide regular progress reports to the client or buyer.
Deliverables:
• Completed dirt work, water service, dry u�li�es, side sewer, and backfill in accordance with the requirements outlined in this statement of work.
• Completed pressure tes�ng and inspec�on of side sewer and water service.
• All debris and excess materials will be cleaned up and disposed of properly.
• Completed as-built drawings and submitals.
• Final inspec�on sign off from the local jurisdic�on as needed.
Milestones:
• Mobiliza�on and equipment setup: 2 days a�er contract award
• Comple�on of dirt work: 5 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Comple�on of water service: 7 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Comple�on of dry u�li�es: 9 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Comple�on of side sewer: 11 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Comple�on of backfill: 14 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Comple�on of as-built drawings and submitals: 16 days a�er mobiliza�on
• Final inspec�on and sign off from the local jurisdic�on: 18 days a�er mobiliza�on
Payment:
The payment will be made based on the comple�on of each of the phases outlined in this statement of work, as follows:
• Dirt work: upon comple�on
• Water service: upon comple�on
• Dry u�li�es: upon comple�on
• Side sewer: upon comple�on
• Backfill: upon comple�on
• As-built drawings and submitals: upon comple�on
• Final inspec�on sign off from the applicable jurisdic�on: upon comple�on
Comple�on Criteria:
The work outlined in this statement of work will be considered complete when the deliverables have been provided to the sa�sfac�on of the applicable jurisdic�on and the client.
Tes�ng and Verifica�on:
All pressure tes�ng will be performed in accordance with the applicable jurisdic�on's standards and requirements.
So�ware and Processes:
The supplier or contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, tools, and materials required to complete the work outlined in this statement of work. They must also have all necessary cer�fica�ons and clearances to perform the work.
Loca�on:
The work will be performed at 24106 N Bunn Road, Prosser, WA 99350.
Schedule:
The work will commence within two days of the contract award and will be completed within 18 days of mobiliza�on.
Limita�ons:
The maximum hours of work per day will be 8 hours, and the maximum workweek will be 40 hours.
Over�me will only be approved in excep�onal circumstances, and any addi�onal costs will be borne by the contractor.
This statement of work represents the en�re agreement between the par�es and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether writen or oral. Any changes to this statement of work must be in wri�ng and signed by both par�es.
