Question 1. Who is the incumbent? (Asked 3 times)

Answer: Reliance Contracts Inc

Question 2. What is the annual value of the existing contract? (Asked 3 times)

Answer: Oct 1, 2019-Sep 30, 2019 $48,235

Question 3. Both buildings are serviced three days per week. Can this be the same three days to increase work efficiency? Sunday work should be discouraged.

Answer: Number of Days are to remain as per specification. For the supervisor’s office, days are indicated as Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and amendment will be created to specify Saturday or Sunday contractor’s preference, but must ensure services are completed no later than Sunday evening.

Question 4: The contractor must provide consumables. What is the headcount at each site (FTE)?

Answer: Supervisor’s Office 32 Full Time Employees (FTE), Wapiti Ranger District Office 29 Full Time Employees (FTE)

Question 5: What is expected for Snow removal?

Answer: Any snow removal/deicer referenced on page 18 and 26 under Performance Based Service Contract will be removed per amendment.

Question 6: Section 3.4 page 28 states “Services shall be performed on the following government holidays”.

Answer: Amendment will be created to incorporate the word NOT, “Section 3.4 page 28 states “Services shall NOT be performed on the following government holidays”.

Question 7: What is the square footage of the building?

Answer: Reference section 3.2 Place of Performance and Statement of Work

Question 8: Has the scope of work changed from current solicitation?

Answer: Yes

Question 9: Are we allowed to subcontract this bid?

Answer: There are no restrictions to subcontract, please reference the solicitation specifications and clauses.

Question: What is the protocol for cleaning window sills?

Answer: Dust and clean as regular, COR will provide notice to employees to remove items during specified window cleaning periods, however if personal items are on window seal, don’t move, leave as is and document and report to COR.

Questions: How many times a year for window cleaning?

Answer: Per specifications, window cleaning is expected twice a year, spring and fall. Refer to Specific Tasks and Quality and

Performance Standards, on page 25 of the solicitation #8 “Interior/Exterior Window Cleaning”

Question: Doors with windows, cleaning requirements?

Answer: Refer to Specific Tasks and Quality and Performance Standards on page 23 of the solicitation, #3 “Main Lobby, Entrance, and hallway”.

Question: Are vinyl flooring areas to have a glossy uniform appearance at all times? Page 27 “Performance Objectives”

Answer: The solicitation will be amended to remove the word “Glossy” from above mentioned section. Reference “Specific

Tasks and Quality and Performance Standards”

Question: Will it be the contractor’s duty to remove built up leaves near the front Entrance of Supervisor’s Office?

Answer: Solicitation will be amended to include removal of built up debris from the entrances of buildings.

Question: What is the protocol for when employees are in their offices during regular cleaning times?

Answer: Ask the individual if they would like their office cleaned. If they choose not to have office cleaned, document and report to COR.
