2019 A/E Questions and Answers:
Question1: Please clarify that this is a small business set-aside. The synopsis states in the narrative that it is a small business set-aside however the www.fbo.gov search function does not show this acquisition as a small business set-side.
Answer1: Yes, this is a total small business set-aside. Amendment 1 of the synopsis has changed the www.fbo.gov data so that the search feature will show that this is a “total small business set-aside”. Offerors who respond to this opportunity must be listed as a small business under their DUNS number in the www.sam.gov database or the offeror will be considered nonresponsive and the offeror’s submission will not be evaluated.
Question2: Please clarify that prime contractor must have a physical office location within the state of Colorado.
Answer2: Yes, the offeror must have a physical office location within the state of Colorado.
Question3: Copies of the SF 330 are also required for each of the required sub consultants in the solicitation. Would you please clarify what this means?
Answer3: For each of the sub consultants proposed under Factor 2, please submit:

2) SF 330 Part II
Question4: Please clarify the page limit. Does the limit apply to section tabs?
Answer4: We are increasing the number of allowable pages to 50 double sided pages (equivalent of 100 single sided pages). Section tabs may not cause the number of pages to exceed this limit.

Answer6: Please limit your sample projects to those performed within the last 36 months. Please submit no more than 10 projects.

Answer7: Please submit 3 printed copies and 1 USB thumb drive.
Question8: Define the approximate construction cost range of “small” projects and “medium” projects (page 2, item # 1, first sentence of the synopsis).
Answer8: Small projects would be approximately $1,000,000. Medium projects would be approximately $3,500,000.
Question9: I am hoping that you might be able to give us a little more insight as to what kinds of architecture projects the Forest Service has planned for the region.
Answer9: We don’t have any predictions on the type of architectural projects that would be funded in the future beyond what was already described in the synopsis.
Question10: We previously submitted our SF330 Form to the Forest Service in response to Solicitation No. 12456819R0002. Is this a completely different project (FBO 4/5/2019 Sol. No. 1282X919R0003) that requires an additional application?
Answer10: This is a completely different project.
Question11: There are 2 email addresses listed in the solicitation for you. Let me know if you prefer us to use one over the other.
