Question 1: Is there going to be a site visit?
Answer 1: There will not be a site visit.
Question 2: One 50-amp 240-volt circuit and receptacle, -- can you please clarify what this outlet will be used for?
Answer 2: This outlet will be used to power a welder; a Miller Multimatic 220 AC/DC
Question 3: Two 20-amp 240-volt circuits, -- can you please clarify what these 2 outlets will be used for?
Answer 3: One circuit will power a refrigerator and the other will be used to power a desiccant cabinet.
Question 4: 120-volt circuits with fourteen receptacles, referenced in page 6 figure 5 -- SOW states 120v "Circuits", do you have a specific number of circuits in mind or is that left up to the electrical contractor to determine. Also are these 120v receptacles BOTH wall outlets AND overhead lighting outlets OR just wall outlets? also in figure 8, page 9, the outlets being installed extend to the 2nd floor? Are these 120v outlets limited to 2 floors only?
Answer 4: The specific number of circuits will be left to the contractor to decide. The 120v receptacles are only wall outlets. The 120v outlets will be on two floors in the same building.
Question 5: Does the electrician have to be licensed in Idaho or is it sufficient to have the electrician licensed in another state?
Answer 5: The electrician performing work must be state licensed but does not have to be Idaho specific licensed.
Question 6: one 240-volt circuit with ceiling mounted receptacle -- Can you please provide what this dedicated 240v single receptacle circuit would be used for? Can you clarify the amperage because 240v is too vague, we need more information regarding the amperage since that determines wire and raceway size.
Answer 6: The 240v single receptacle will be used for an electric hoist. The specifications will be equivalent or similar to:
Question 7: Is the SOW all in ONE building spanning multiple floors or different buildings? Are all the new circuits originating from the new sub panel being installed?
Answer 7: The work outlined in the SOW is all in one building, spanning two floors. All new circuits will originate from the installed new sub panel.
Question 8: For the new circuits, can the raceways be surface mounted, or do you expect us to demo walls and run the raceways through studs and joists? If so, is patch and repair work the responsibility of the electrical contractor?
Answer 8: The new circuits can be surface mounted where wall is finished/covered and interior mounted on open unfinished walls. The majority of the work will be surface mounted.
Question 9: I noticed that all vehicles entering the park need to be pressure washed. Do you know if there is a designated area where this is to be done? Will a pressure washer be provided, or do you think we'll need to bring one?
Answer 9: It is expected that all vehicles entering the compound are clean and free of mud/soil/natural material. Cleaning supplies/pressure water will not be provided, but there is a public self-use car wash located 1 mile from the work site.
