Questions

Vendor QuestionGovernment Response
1Are vendors allowed to drain the potable water tank, or is this cleaning and inspection strictly required to be done while the tank is in-service?No, there needs to be a source of water for the student population.
2How far away can vendors discharge water? Need to have a discharge plan for sediments; can usually discharge on ground within 50ft near sewer. No, there is no sewer within 50', however, it is potable water and can be discharged on the ground where the overflow site is.
3Can you please provide a site map of Boxelder?Site map is now added as an attachment to the solicitation on sam.gov.
4Section 5.0 of deliverables indicates transferring the video to USFS cloud storage. We normally provide a USB flash drive with the dive video to the customer. Will that be sufficient?Yes, this is okay.
5Do you have a location or area you want us to off load the rinse water after cleaning the tank? Or are we disposing the rinse water ourselves?Rinse water can be off loaded at the site of the water tank.
6Do we have a water source on site to refill our power washer if needed? There is a water source on site, unless they empty the water tank then the water source will only be at the pump house itself.
