About this file
This document contains a federal contract solicitation and related question and answer exchange. The solicitation is for medical services at the Trapper Creek Job Corps Center and is seeking a licensed medical professional to provide 9 hours of services per week. Duties include examinations, treatment, issuing prescriptions, monitoring health conditions, recommending hospitalization, follow-up care, and prevention planning. The solicitation was issued by the USDA Forest Service on behalf of its Job Corps Civilian Conservation Centers program, which provides academic, vocational and life skills training to at-risk youth across 24 centers nationwide. While funds have not been allocated at this time, the government intends to award a contract and anticipates funds will be available within the proposed period of performance. A related question and answer confirms the need is for 9 hours of weekly medical services to meet the center's requirements.

Question: Can this service be provided one week per month instead of 9 hours week?
Answer: Providing this service one a week a month will not meet the center’s needs, a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner needs to be available 9 hours a week.
