Fabric Shade Shelter
II. Site visit was conducted on March 6, 2018, 1:00 p.m. Attendance sheet attached below.
Questions / Observations were as follows:
1) Estimate Range was discussed: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Vendors are encouraged to propose multiple offers if different types of structures are available (in accordance with drawings).
2) Height of shade needs to be minimum of 9 feet 6 inches so as not to obstruct the screen at front of amphitheatre. (Maximum height should not exceed approximately 20 feet).
3) Color of metal posts that support the structure show closely match the color of bench seating (light gray – see pictures of bench seating in solicitation).
4) As much as possible, structure posts should not impede view of screen. Posts should not interfere with Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) accessible width of aisles (maintain 36 inch aisle width). Placement of structure posts may require some of bench seating to be shortened or moved.
5) The footprint of the shelter needs to extend past concrete pad per Exhibit 4.
6) Exhibit 4, trees are shown, pine tree to east, contractor is responsible for limbing up to point that it does not interfere with shade structure.
7) Access to site will be from nearby road and or parking lot from south or west.
8) Contractors may submit more than one proposal, to include different pricing, for other types of fabric, such as a water-repellant / water-proof. Indicate on the proposal what type of fabric is being proposed and any unique fabric properties that the evaluation panel should be aware of to assist with selecting the best overall value to the Government.
III. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
