About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding Amendment 2 for solicitation number 127EAX23Q0083 for the Grandview Lookout Cabin Vault Toilet Demolition opportunity with the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The questions and answers specify that while the attachment drawings call for a Boom Clovermist Plus single vault facility, the current facilities in the area are CXT Cascadian single vault facilities, so the agency prefers bids using the Boom model to match the recently installed toilet at the trailhead. Camping on site in a self-contained camper would be allowed to act as tool and equipment security and for materials deliveries, but a permit would need to be obtained from the district if the stay is over 14 days.

AMENDMENT 2
Queson and Answer
Q: In the atachment Drawings, it calls for a Boom Clovemist Plus Single vault facility. During the onsite walk, we noced the current facilies in and around the park/forest are CXT Cascadian single vault facilies. Is it in your preference we bid the CXT or Boom Clovermist?
A: We would prefer the boom to match the other new toilet we just installed at the actual trailhead.
Q: Will we be able to stay on locaon in a self-contained camper to act as tool/equipment security and be in place for material deliveries due to its remote locaon?
A: Camping trailer should not be a problem they will just need to get a permit from the district if it’s over 14 days.
