About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation 127EAS25Q0019, addressing the upfitting of four fire command vehicles for the U.S. Forest Service in California. The solicitation requires outfitting two Nissan Titans (one S KC SWB 4X4 and one SV KC SWB 4X4) and two Ford F-350 4x4 Supercab SRW vehicles with specialized equipment including light bars, light heads, siren packages, electrical components, and special striping. A critical requirement is that the contractor must be located within a two-hour driving distance from the Stanislaus National Forest Supervisors Office in Sonora, CA. The Q&A clarifies that vehicle transportation via car carrier is not acceptable, and the two-hour proximity requirement is to facilitate government transportation and inspection. Quotes are due by 5:00 P.M. PT on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with a required completion timeline of 90 days from the award date.
