About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document (Amendment 02) for a federal contract opportunity issued by the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Procurement and Property Services, IT Contract Branch in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The solicitation number is 12760426Q0052 and concerns a VHF Pass Notch Duplexer operating in the 144-190 MHz frequency range.

The document addresses two key technical clarifications. First, regarding packaging requirements, the Government stated it is unaware of any MIL-SPEC packaging mandates and advised vendors to follow manufacturer recommendations. Second, concerning operating temperature specifications, the Government clarified that while revised technical specifications originally required the VHF duplexer to maintain operating characteristics from -40°C to 80°C or better, an operating range of -40°C to +60°C is acceptable provided all remaining RF performance requirements are met. This amendment provides important guidance to potential bidders on technical acceptability criteria for their submissions.
