Barb Darling was representing the Contract Specialist, Breanne Parker, who will remain the single point of contact for this project until after contract award.

Barb Darling went over some key aspects of the solicitation:

1. Project timeline is 60 after Notice to Proceed, to be completed no later than Aug 31, 2019.

2. Page 16 of the RFQ requires Payment protection (after award)

3. Technical proposal requires detailed project schedule and past performance of prime and any major subcontractor.

4. Price proposal shall include the completed SF1442, Pricing Schedule, K.2 certification

5. Reminder that SAM registration is required.

We did a building walk-around and the following clarifications were provided.

1. This is an active site that includes a fitness room used by Fire Crews and storage area for equipment.

2. RFQ doesn’t include a line to replace roof decking. If rotted decking is found, it will be address through a modification.

3. Even though there are upper level windows and vents, this project only covers the lower level windows.

4. Shingle color will be approved by the CO after award, however Desert Sand or other tan color is preferred.

5. No permitting is required since this is Federal Property.

6. If any damage is done to the landscaping by driving on the grass (ie. ruts, etc) the contractor will be liable to repair.

7. COR verified that the requirement is for steel gutters, aluminum will not be acceptable.

8. Currently the chimney has 3 bracings that tie into the roof for support. Contractor will be required to ensure chimney is secure at all times.

9. Question was asked if synthetic felt would be acceptable. Forest Service asked that the Product

Sheets be provided to the CO (Breanne Parker) by the end of the week for COR review. If acceptable the RFQ will be modified to incorporate. Breanne.parker@usda.gov

All remaining questions shall be sent through Breanne Parker.
