Re: 1263PX180004 USDA Forest Service, Delaware Controlled Temperature Project Location: 359 Main Road, Delaware, OH 43015.

Dear Mr. Sindt, Please find below Star’s answers to the question emailed on 5/13/2019.

1. Dwg E-100. In the stairwell there are 2 wall fixtures that are not noted as to type.

The two wall light fixtures are existing to be demolished. Two wall light fixtures are under the stair case next to stair sump room.

2. Dwg E100. In the stairwell there is an annotation at the end of the single S3 fixture of “LV”. What does this represent?

LV represents low voltage. The LV should be deleted.

3. Dwg E-110. The coded notes for this page appear to be missing.

From drawing that was submitted 100% submission 02-11-19 matches the number of coded notes which are on our CAD with all the information. Six coded notes. If you have another set that is not this set let us know.

4. Dwg E-110. There appears to be a symbol for an exit light on the east side of the building on the outside in free air?

The symbol needs to be deleted no exit in free air.

5. Dwg E-120 Under coded notes, note 2 states “NOTE OMITTED”. However, a coded note 2 is shown on the floor plan just below the notation for EH-5.

Note 2 needs to be deleted. Note 25 is what describes the EH-5 baseboard heater.

6. Dwg E-100 note 10. Note 10 states to refer to single line diagram on E600. Since the MD panel is virtually alongside this junction box and the existing feed is already into panel MD I don’t quite understand what is required here.

Note 10 should have stated that: existing feed to remain.

7. The basement is to receive 4” foam insulation on the ceiling and no other finish, as shown on detail 3 dwg A-300. The lighting fixtures shown for the basement are recessed 2x4 troffers. Without a lay-in or drywall ceiling these fixtures would not be compatible with the spray-on foam only. Please clarify.

The R2 and R2E light fixtures are to be cable suspended mounted to ceiling. The new part number for R2 is #LCAT-24-40XL-CM-EDU-GLR and for R2E # LCAT-24-40XL-CM-EDU-GLR-ELL14. Mount new light fixtures to be 8 ft above finished floor.

8. Are the circuit breakers for the new equipment (I.E. Panel A, pumps, AHU) to be new or are the c/b’s existing to be reused?

All the new equipment including panel A are to be new breakers.

Please contact Ali Alghothani regarding any questions or clarifications you require based in the information provided above.

Respectfully, STAR CONSULTANTS, INC

Ali Alghothani, Ph.D., P.E.

V. President
