Re: Scope of work for Glissando Slide Scanner with 20 slide capacity
A bench-top high throughput slide digitizer to generate high quality images of slide-mounted specimens to aid in the creation of diagnostic tools and resources. Many pestiferous species of insects, plant diseases, and fungi are preserved on slides, and imaging this material with systems designed for dried pinned material is not efficient. This slide digitizer will greatly improve our capabilities to image slide-mounted specimens of often hard-to-identify pest taxa.
The stand-alone unit MIGLISS-20SL-20X-RUO is distributed by Meyer Instruments.
The above items must include the following items:
• Slide capacity up to 20 slides, standard 25mm x 70 mm slides
• 2048 x 2048 pixel camera sensor with image resolution of .5um
• Barcode reader (Data matrix and QR code)
• Integrated control computer with on board storage of 256 GB
• Web-based training on set up and calibration.
Purchase and installation of above items should be initiated as soon as possible.
