7. There is a discrepancy in the documents about the number of plugs/caps in each case.

The schedule of supplies and services says:

Firm Fixed Priced Indefinite Quanty, Indefinite Delivery contract for 8 ml 13 x 100 mm plasc blood collecon tubes with caps Packed: 1000tubes/1000 caps per box (tubes and caps are in separate bags per case) in accordance with specificaons.

The Statement of Work says:

3.2 PACKAGING AND MARKING

The bleeding tubes with plug-type push-top caps shall be packaged together in units of 1,000 tubes per carton and 1,000 caps per carton. A minimum 200 pound test corrugated carton shall be used. The carton shall be lined with a polyethylene bag liner. An addional 10% (ten) of the push-top caps shall be packaged in each carton, unless instructed otherwise by the agency.

For clarificaon are you needing 1,000 or 1,100 caps per box? If it's 1,100 can the extra 100 caps be bagged separately from the other 1,000? So, in each box there would be three bags; A bag of 1,000 tubes, a bag of 1,000 caps, and a bag of 100 caps ?

A - ***Amendment_1 changes secon 3.2 PACKAGING AND MARKING in the Statement Of Work to remove the statement ( An addional 10% (ten) of the push-top caps shall be packaged in each carton, unless instructed otherwise by the agency).

No addional 10% of the push-top caps is needed

Note:

Most Commercial caps are packed as 500 per bag so the supplier can put 2 bags of 500 in the case of 1000 tubes
