Attachment 2 Solicitation No. 12475620R0001 Grays Branch Culvert Replacement Cherokee National Forest, Ocoee Ranger District
SECTION C
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
C-1 Description of Work
The Grays Branch Culvert replacement project will replace one undersized culvert with an aquatic organism passage structure. A 19’-0” span x 6’-4” rise x 36’-0” long aluminum arch culvert will be installed on pre-cast concrete modular footings on NFSR 67 over Grays Branch. The work will include simulation of aproximately 111 feet of Grays Branch. Other activities include excavation and disposal of existing 72” x 36’ CMP, segregation of excavated material (stream simulation, suitable, and unsuitable material), disposal of excess fill off site, placement of riprap, recontouring of existing stream bed, and roadway embankment construction.

C-2 Project Location
The project is located South of Parksville Lake. From the junction of US HWY 64 and US HWY 411 in Ocoee, TN, proceed east on US HWY 64 for 2.5 miles .Turn right onto Cookson Creek Road and proceed for approximately 4.5 miles, crossing into the Cherokee National Forest and the past the point where the pavement ends and the road becomes a gravel National Forest Service Road, to a 5-way intersection known locally as the “Turkey Foot”. Take a hard right onto NFSR 67 (Grays Branch Road) and proceed approximately 1.0 miles to the project location.
C-3 Applicable Specifications (Road Projects)
Standard and Supplemental Specifications for FP-14 shown in the specification listing contained in the attachments are applicable to this contract. All specifications not included in the specification listing but referenced by listed specifications, are applicable. The Supplemental Specifications shown on the specification list are physically attached.
