Question 1)
I was just wondering if the Vinyl flooring contract currently up for bid can be filled with Vinyl manufactured in South Korea, and then assembled in the US. If so, I can nearly guarantee that I have a contractor for you!

Question 2)
Will there be a site visit held for this project?
Also, could you provide any pictures/descriptions of the wall/room colors so we can provide the best options for flooring color? Unless you prefer for us to send them regardless of room color.
Response: I would like to have in person site visit if possible, but I can provide photos of rooms that need tile replaced with sample of flooring to be installed.
Question 3)
In regards to the abatement can you let me know what’s beneath the tile rather its concrete or wood? How can I set up a site visit for abatement quote? Also the color of vinyl?
Response: The subfloor is all concrete. The vinyl we want to standardize our building with is called Karndean Van Gogh, Vintage Pine
Question 4)
1. Is there a lot of leveling to be done with the thin set glue from the previous tile? Will the flooring contractor need a large grinder to get the old tile and glue removed?
2. I assume the LVP is floating, not glued to the floor. Is that correct?
Response: No leveling and glue will have to be completely moved because of the asbestos and prep for future projects.
