About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document that clarifies key requirements and payment terms for the snowplowing service solicitation at LaCroix Road in Superior National Forest. The Q&A addresses five critical operational and payment questions issued as part of Amendment 0001 on January 21, 2026.

The document specifies that snowfall accumulation will be measured on hard surfaces using a ruler, and that work is considered "substantially complete" when 80% or more is finished by 6:00 AM, with minor cleanup acceptable afterward due to daytime parking lot usage. For payment purposes, snowfall calculations and excess snow removal requests are processed per event rather than aggregated within 24-hour periods or monthly invoices. Excess snow removal under Item 1c requires a request from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and is paid as a separate line item per occurrence. The document also clarifies that the potential 25% deduction for non-compliance applies per event, not cumulatively per line item or over the monthly invoice period. Prospective contractors must submit responses with a signed SF-30 form, and the solicitation close date remains January 21, 2026 with no extension granted.
