About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a small business set-aside solicitation for Trimble GNSS equipment and related products. The solicitation is set aside under FAR 52.219-33 and requires small businesses authorized to sell Trimble products and registered in SAM.gov to submit quotes.
Key clarifications from the Q&A include the following: small business nonmanufacturers authorized to sell Trimble products may submit quotes for the brand-name equipment specified; the controlling delivery requirement is 90 days after award, with expected award by September 15, 2026, and delivery window between September 15 and December 15, 2026; the preferred delivery address is E6248 US Highway 2, Ironwood, MI 49938; the TDL450b is an acceptable substitute for the discontinued TDL450 HX; Trimble Access General Survey software and a second EWLS-FW-STK firmware must be included in quotes; tripods were removed from the revised schedule; and the contract requires minimal product support but no training. A revised Schedule of Items incorporating these changes has been issued and is available upon request from joshua.franks@usda.gov or attached to the updated solicitation.
