About this file

This document contains the salient characteristics and specifications for a compact track loader procurement. The equipment must feature an HVAC cab with land management package, including polycarbonate windshield and brush protection guarding. The loader requires a 3.6L diesel engine capable of producing at least 120 horsepower and over 400 lb/ft of torque, paired with a hydraulic system capable of at least 40 GPM and 4495 psi to operate a mulching drum attachment.

The compact track loader must meet specific capacity and operational requirements, including a minimum 55-gallon fuel tank for 10-12 hour work periods without refueling, auxiliary hydraulic cooling package for high-heat mulching applications, and reversing cooling fan with at least 4.5 gallon coolant capacity. Performance specifications include at least 4,200 lbs. of 35% tipping load capacity, a minimum 12,000 lbs. tipping load capacity, 9,950 lbs. tilt cylinder break out force, 6,400 lbs. lift cylinder break out force, and a maximum lift pin height of 134 inches for clearing 10-foot loads. The equipment must provide at least 11 inches of ground clearance for rough terrain traversal, include an e-bar track system, triple flange idler wheels for track retention, cold start package, hydraulic coupler with lines protection for easy attachment changes, and fire extinguisher mounting capability.
