About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document clarifying procurement requirements for a motor with associated components.
The buyer requires delivery only of a motor with a 20" short shaft and fuel tanks; installation is not needed. The horsepower specification is flexible, with the buyer willing to accept any rating between 50-90 HP based on the best available price, meaning if a 75 HP unit is offered at a lower cost than a 50 HP unit, the vendor should quote the most competitively priced option. Since motors do not come equipped with fuel tanks as standard, fuel tanks must be included as a required component in all quotations.
