Q&A Water plant operation 06/08/2021

· Just to confirm, the USFS will continue to pay White Oak for sampling, but contractor will take the samples and run to the lab.

· Correct

· The frequency you want a certified operator from ASM to visit each location. If this is once a week, and then we are contacted if a process control decision is needed? The required frequency would definitely affect the bid.

· DEP - frequency should be twice a week

· I also have some concerns for KIPC, this appears to be a spring, I was not able to locate it with a quick walk across the road. Does anyone know where it is approximately, or would I just need to hike till it is located? I also have concerns with an untreated spring. Springs often fail samples, then check samples, and then swift tests. Any option to add chlorination?

· Spring has been located, the spring and holding tank are at end of FR494

· Who is responsible for working on restroom plumbing? Or we would? Would parts be supplied?

· Forest Service will be responsible for the plumbing in the restrooms
