Coordinate shipment date(s) with Forest Service and transport seedlings to designated locations using cold storage transports maintaining the shipment(s) between 35 to 38 degrees F. Temperatures will be logged from the point of entry on the truck until delivery using a portable monitor capable of collecting and downloading temperature/date/time for the entire delivery process. Seedling delivery cost will be the responsibility of the contractor.
Deliveries of seedling shipments will be coordinatied between the Forest Service Representative and the Contractor, generally Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, during normal operating hours. Tables 4 – 18 shows estimated quantities by species and delivery locations by Fiscal Year.
