About this file

This document appears to be a specification for the replacement and installation of a lift station and septic system components at the Buffalo Gap Campground and on the Dakota Prairie Grasslands.

The key details are:

  • The lift station work includes replacing the inner workings, floats, and attachments with a new, fully functional system, and installing a new concrete lid with an aluminum access door.
  • The effluent pumping system requires two 1/2 HP submersible sewage pumps with a lift-out double guide rail system, a duplex pump control panel, and float controls.
  • The septic tank work involves locating, pumping, and inspecting four existing 1,250 gallon septic tanks, and installing grade ring inserts and grade rings to extend the risers above grade with secured lids.
  • The work is part of a federal contract opportunity, Solicitation #1240LU24Q0046, issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service for the GAOA Buffalo Gap Campground Septic System on the Dakota Prairie Grasslands.
