About this file
This is a Question and Answer document from the USDA Forest Service regarding solicitation 1240LT25B0001 for the Ellison Fence Project. The document addresses a single question about vegetation clearing requirements.
The Q&A clarifies that heavy equipment may not be used to clear fence lines in the project area, with the Forest Service explaining this restriction is due to high concentrations of archaeological sites in the area. Only chainsaws or handsaws are permitted for vegetation clearing. The document is dated January 29, 2025 and is signed by the Contracting Officer with a copy to the COR (Contracting Officer's Representative).
