About this file

This document package includes construction plans and specifications for a federal road improvement project. The Paintrock Road Surfacing Phase 2 project involves resurfacing and reconditioning approximately 3.12 miles of Forest Road 17 located on the Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming. Work will include applying 4 inches of new aggregate surface course, full depth reclamation of up to 0.7 miles of existing roadway, and dust palliative application. The project is solicited under Solicitation Number 1240LT23Q0071 issued by the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The specifications incorporate FP-14 standard construction specifications. The source for aggregate materials is a designated government-owned stockpile. Construction must follow traffic control and signage plans compliant with MUTCD standards.
