About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the installation of emergency lighting, siren systems, and radio equipment on two U.S. Forest Service (USFS) vehicles: a 2024 Ford F350 DRW RC UT pickup truck (Door #8727, VIN: 1FDRF3HNXREE81216) and a 2025 Chevrolet 3500 DRW RC UT pickup truck (Door #8203, VIN: 1GB3KSE72SF141875). The vendor must complete all work within 30 days of vehicle delivery. Delivery and pickup will occur within 200 road miles of 1918 Commerce Ave, Boise, ID 83705; the vendor is responsible for towing beyond this radius. A 30-day advance notice is required for vehicle delivery.

The lighting installation requirements include supplying and installing an approximately 55-inch LED strobe light bar (red/white FIRE configuration) with take-down and alley lights mounted to the roof, two LED red/white strobes in the front grill upper corners, two red LED strobes on the upper rear bed, an external siren and speaker, and a light/siren controller with park/kill and timed-out relay for battery drain protection. All lighting must be wired with truck keyswitch activation through a dedicated circuit with appropriate current protection. The siren and electronics installation requires integration of an FS-supplied BK Tech KNG M150 radio powered through an FS-supplied Charge Guard with an antenna mounted as far rearward as possible. The vendor must supply and install a 20-inch sloped wide-body heavy-duty cab center console (11-gauge welded steel construction) with a radio model-specific mounting faceplate, dual cup holder, light/siren control mounting faceplate, two magnetic mic holders, a 9-inch external locking storage box, two adjustable armrests, and console wiring with two 12-volt outlets and two USB outlets. Striping is not required on either vehicle.
