About this file

This document is an Amendment 002 to Solicitation 1240LS25Q0042, containing questions and answers for a furniture removal and disposal project at the Forest Service R4 Regional Office in Ogden, UT. The contract requires removing and disposing of all office furniture, cubicle parts, filing cabinets, and miscellaneous items from the 3rd floor and basement storage room, followed by floor vacuuming. Key details include a site visit scheduled for 06/24/2025 at 10:30 AM MT, quotes due by 07/01/2025 at 10:00 AM MT, and an anticipated award in mid-July. The work must be completed within 21 days after notice to proceed, but no later than September 12, 2025.

The Q&A provides specific instructions for the project, including work hours (7 AM - 5 PM), contractor staging in two parking spaces on the north side, use of a dedicated freight elevator, and requirements for item removal. Contractors must document all workers, provide their own dumpsters, and are instructed to remove nearly all items except specific elements like windows, blinds, wall sanitizers, and thermostats. The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will manage building access, and no additional work beyond the performance work statement is authorized without approval from the contract specialist.
